Buddhism
The hall is devoted to art of the Far East and Central Asia countries - China, Japan, Mongolia, and Tibet. Rare Japanese and China scrolls, porcelain, wood and ivory carving, enamel vases, remarkable varnish pieces are exposed here. The unique Chinese screen of Coromandel lacquer made in the middle of the XVII century which is only in Ukraine stands out against them. Mini-collection of bottles for snuff is series of the high-quality artistic works of glass, porcelain, decorative stones, lacquer and ivory. Traditional figurines of Buddhist deities, articles of ritual function are very interesting. The unique exposition of this hall is completed with Buddhist printed icons.
