Various samples of orthodox religious cult articles are submitted in the museum exposition. Icons, on the whole, old-ritual ones head the list of them. They are interesting by retaining iconographical and art features of ancient samples, despite of rather late time of their painting. Besides works of different Russian schools, a complex of Lipovane icons makes the separate collection. The art of Lipovane keeps traditions of old Russian icon-painting, but in the same time it absorbed Ukrainian folk influences and acquired a special smartness and decorative features.
Crosses of varied forms, editions of Bible in different languages, unique Rostov icons on enamel of 18-19 centuries and some articles of church utensils are also submitted in this hall.
