Memorial room of á.V. Bleschunov
Memorial room of á.V. Bleschunov preserves that atmosphere of love to art, which was always inherent in this house. Works that were especially precious to their owner are submitted here. Among them there is a portrait of his grandmother Francoise Durut, dated 1873. This room is the witness of many events in A.V.Bleschunov's life. He was one of the founders of mountain climbing section in Odessa in 1936. He was the organizer and chief of expeditions in Crimea, Carpathians, Caucasus, and Pamir. In this room they worked the ascentions routes out, formed the lists of the participants and allocated duties of each member of a team. Exposition of the room contains part of climbing equipment of 30-50th years, and A.V. Bleschunov's war and sports rewards are kept in the next showcase. Among them there is Order of Edelweiss as 'rendering to zealous and excellent work in favour of mountaineering".
