The museum collection of the Ukrainian art is not too large, but it is interesting by a principle of selection of exhibits: it represents the folk crafts of Ukraine. Embroidered details of national costume, Krolevets woven towels imitating embroidery, articles of bead and woodwork, painted ceramics and small collection of painted Easter eggs are on display in this hall.
Though manufacture of "primitive" icons painted on canvas was widespread on Ukraine in the XIX century they are little-investigated field of folk art.
